Counseling and Therapy in Video, Current -- Provides a large "online collection of video available for the study of social work, psychotherapy, psychology, and psychiatric counseling—400 hours and more than 330 videos on completion. This current release [as of April, 2010] includes 284 videos totaling roughly 314 hours". The searchable transcripts are synchronized to the videos—users can drill down in seconds to find the footage of interest from hundreds of hours of video. The videos are drawn from the catalogs of Microtraining Associates, Psychotherapy.net, and the University of Manchester Department of Psychiatry.

The Library has acquired the Veterinary Medicine Collection for 2008, 2009, and 2010. The titles will be catalogued. Note that new titles for these publication years will become accessible as they are published.
ScienceDirect, 1995 - present; selected complete backfiles from volume 1, issue 1; selected ebook collections -- Portal to scholarly journals, book series, and ebooks published by Elsevier and affiliated publishers primarily covering science, technology, and medicine and the social sciences. The University of Saskatchewan Library has a current license to the full text of over 2270 of the journal titles back to 1995 (1993 for Academic Press titles) as well as access to several subject backfile collections with coverage from from volume 1, issue 1. Also includes several major reference works and ebook collections. [details]

BIOSIS Citation Index BETA version 2010 - present [will eventually go back to 1926] -- Life sciences and biomedical research bibliographic database, covering pre-clinical and experimental research, methods and instrumentation, animal studies, and more.
Access Note: The backfiles to 1926 and other functionality will be loaded in the near future. This resource is hosted on the new Web of Knowledge(WoK) 5.0 platform. WoK 5.0 will be the default platform for WoK databases in the near future. This is a new resource with broader scope than BIOSIS Previews and will eventually replace it. However while BCI is in transition, the two databases will run in parallel. Please continue to use BIOSIS Previews as your primary BIOSIS database. [details]
