Study Skills Workshops
Each term we offer a set of Study Skills Workshops on topics in study skills including topics such as time management, note-taking, and exam preparation. These study skills workshops are facilitated by PAL Peer Mentors, designed with an undergraduate student population in mind, and are free for all current U of S students.
Study skills workshops are offered during the Fall and Winter semesters.
Drop-In Study Skills Help
Drop by and talk with a Study Skills Peer Mentor to obtain information and resources on study skills and student support at the U of S from a trained peer.
Study Skills Peer Mentors are students who have completed one or more years at the U of S, are academically strong and trained in the Peer Assisted Learning Program. They will listen to your questions and provide information on study skills, student support services at the U of S, and share personal experiences when the opportunties arise.
This service is open to all U of S undergraduate students with a particular warm welcome to students in their first year of study.
Drop-In Study Skills Help is located on the 1st floor of the Murray Library, in Blue Pod #1 located behind the Reference/IT Help Desk.
* Drop-in Study Skills Help is available during the fall and winter terms. Please contact: email@example.com with questions.
